I have spent the majority of my career representing occupiers of space (“tenants”) with a unique package of services, seldom found in the commercial real estate field.

I am a true Tenant Advocate. Cresa is a premier commercial real estate company that exclusively represents the occupiers.

I recognize there is no shortage of commercial real estate people who can represent a tenant in a real estate lease. The vast majority of them primarily represent the property owner or landlord and are trying to attract tenants to a particular property.

If they don’t fit within that category, they are probably young people trying to break into this highly competitive business. Although you may meet a more experienced person at the initial interview, most likely the inexperienced broker will be managing your deal.

I exclusively represent tenants with office, flex and industrial property leases. My experience allows me to identify the business drivers behind the real estate needs, formulate a strategic plan to achieve your goals and carry out the project on time and on budget.

In addition to negotiating the right real estate terms, I am able to save substantial time and money on other project costs. Construction, Design, Furniture, IT and Relocation costs can all get out of control after the real estate deal is completed. My understanding of how all of these vendors work together and are compensated will save thousands of dollars and avoid delays.

Lindy Pearson

I am responsible for all of the business development efforts for the Cresa Woodland Hills office including sponsorships, events, social media, and networking. Cresa represents occupiers of space, helping them find space to run their business more efficiently. Companies hire Cresa to lower their occupancy costs, find and negotiate leases, or renew existing leases to ensure landlord profits are minimized.

One of the challenges of the commercial real estate brokers is the ability for a seasoned veteran to do quality work while still having time to develop new business (“fill the pipeline”). The best brokers in the industry should be spending the majority of their time doing the work that is required to represent their clients. Bringing my skills in business development to work alongside my husband, a 30-year veteran and a Principal with Cresa, I am able to help keep out pipeline full so that Rick can focus 100% of his time on representing our clients. The fact that we are a husband and wife team makes it beneficial to both parties. Truly, no conflict of interest!

As a result of my networking efforts, I have become a Leader in The Exchange. (www.theexchange.com) Recently forming a new Westlake Village Chapter. This position allows me to connect our clients to a wide range of other professionals within the business community.
